 WALT: drop, cover, and Hold

This Morning we had an earthquake practice. The first thing that we had to do was to drop under our desks. The second thing was to cover our heads. The last thing we did was hold onto the table legs.

Tiny houses

WALT: Write about Tiny houses for our inquiry

Today we have been watching some videos about Tiny houses.


Maori made easy

WALT: We are learning to...
: Practise saying the following Māori vowels out loud
: Practise saying the following well-known Māori words out loud
: Find the meanings of each of these common Māori words

For this Te reo Maori task, we had to follow the instructions from the Maori made easy slide deck and we had to complete all the tasks.  The tasks were pronouncing Maori vowel sounds correctly, saying Maori words and finding the meanings of Maori words.

Caricature

We had to draw our self and if we were finished we had to show it to Ms O'Dea.  When the teacher said we had to dye it then we had to finish dyeing it. We had to show it to Ms O'Dea and then we let it dry outside.

last week I have been learning about literacy and I have been doing compound sentences and I was also doing complex sentences. The words for the compound sentences and the complex words are dentists, teachers, chefs, doctors, and proforma.
